The material in this site was, in the opinion of Advertising Standards Canada (ASC) accurate at the time it was
compiled. It is intended for reference purposes only and should be confirmed by the user for accuracy and timeliness.
ASC does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use of, or the result of the use of, the material in
this site in terms of its correctness, accuracy, reliability or otherwise. ASC will not be liable for any damages or
injury including, but not limited to, special or consequential damages, that result from the use of the materials in
this site. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as permission (express or implied) to violate any intellectual
property rights, such as, but not limited to, copyright and trade-mark rights.
Privacy Policy
ASC is committed to complying with applicable privacy legislation. Information collected by ASC from individuals
will be protected and treated in compliance with privacy laws.
Information provided by individuals who file a complaint in writing or submit the Consumer Complaint Submission Form
will be used by ASC for the purpose of investigating the complaint in accordance with the procedures established under
the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards and for communicating with individuals about ASC’s activities. The name
of the individual who files a complaint and the individual’s contact information, along with a copy of the complaint and
the fact that the individual filed a complaint, may be forwarded to the advertiser for the purpose of responding to the
complainant and to the Consumer Response Council for the purpose of adjudicating the complaint if the individual making
the complaint authorizes ASC to do so by completing the appropriate “box” in the Consumer Complaint Submission Form.
