About this Guide
This Children's Broadcast Advertising Clearance Guide was designed to help advertisers, advertising agencies and broadcasters develop commercials that comply with The Broadcast Code for Advertising to Children (Children's Code).

The Children's Code was created to guide advertisers in preparing commercial messages that recognize and respect the special characteristics of the child audience.

The Children's Code is published by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) in cooperation with Advertising Standards Canada (ASC), and is endorsed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).
