Robert E. Oliver Scholarship
Each year, ASC awards one $1,500 scholarship to a full-time post secondary student who is enrolled in an
undergraduate advertising or marketing program at a Canadian university or college.
Robert E. Oliver was ASC’s first president and a pioneer of Canadian advertising self-regulation.
He played a key role in developing the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards. To honour
his contribution, this award recognizes students with a record of outstanding academic achievement and
community service and who are committed to pursuing a career in advertising or marketing.
