Michelle Bergsma

2011 - Michelle Bergsma

In 2011, ASC awarded the Robert E. Oliver Scholarship to Michelle Bergsma, from Whitehorse, Yukon. Michelle was a third-year undergraduate student enrolled in the University of Guelph's Marketing Management Co-op Program and had been on the Dean's Honours List for four consecutive semesters. In addition to her academic excellence, Michelle was deeply involved in her community as a volunteer.

Marie-Anne Lalonde

2010 - Marie-Anne Lalonde

In 2010, ASC awarded the Robert E. Oliver Scholarship to Marie-Anne Lalonde who was in her third year of a Bachelor in Communications Marketing at the Université du Québec à Montréal. In addition to her outstanding academic results and her involvement in the student community, Marie-Anne is determined to make a difference by putting her skills in marketing to the service of organizations such as the Association of People with Visual Disabilities of Saguenay Lac-St-jean and Operation Red Nose.

Alexandra Warner

2009 - Alexandra Warner

In 2009, ASC awarded the scholarship to Alexandra Warner, who was in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Business Administration program at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John. In addition to her outstanding academic achievement, she also volunteered with several organizations, including Stand Up Against Poverty and World University Service of Canada.

Ivy So

2008 - Ivy So

In 2008, ASC awarded the scholarship to Ivy So, a Business Administration and Communications major at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. In addition to her outstanding academic achievement, she was also a volunteer with the Business Administration Student Society at SFU and served on the Board of Directors for Agents of Change, a non-profit agency dedicated to alleviating global poverty through sustainable solutions.

Shira Feuer

2007 - Shira Feuer

Shira Feuer, from Winnipeg, was a fourth-year marketing major at McGill University in Montreal. In addition to excelling academically in a rigorous marketing program, she was also a volunteer with both an international student leadership program and the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

Lacey Cartier

2007 - Lacey Cartier

From Edmonton, Lacey Cartier was a second-year business and marketing major at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. In addition to her outstanding academic achievement, she had been a long-time volunteer in her community, helping kids and parents in need.

Dan Kenaani

2006 - Dan Kenaani

The 2006 Robert E. Oliver Scholarship recipient was Dan Kenaani, then second-year advertising major at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Oakville, Ontario. In addition to his exceptional academic record, Dan acted as Director of Communications of the Sheridan Student Union, coordinated its alcohol abuse awareness week, and organized Sheridan’s Shinerama 2005 fundraising campaign to help fight cystic fibrosis.

Julie Massicotte

2005 - Julie Massicotte

The 2005 Robert E. Oliver Scholarship recipient was Julie Massicotte, a student at the Media Art and Technology Course, Advertising Option, at Cégep de Jonquière, Quebec.

Tricia Hayden

2005 - Tricia Hayden

The 2005 Robert E. Oliver Scholarship was also awarded to Tricia Hayden, a student in the Advertising Program at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.
