To find out, ASC regularly conducts research to probe consumer perceptions about the ads they see and hear. Our 2014 research, conducted by The Gandalf Group, provides great insights. What do today’s consumers find acceptable in ads and what is not? How valuable and helpful is advertising to them? Do people trust advertising more or less, depending on the medium? Where do targeted online ads fall on the trust scale? Join us for the release of this important research and find the answers to these questions and many more.

David Herle is a Principal Partner with The Gandalf Group. Formerly a partner in the Earnscliffe Strategy Group, David is a nationally recognized leader in public opinion research, strategic advice and communications strategies. He advises clients about brand image and reputation management in various sectors of the economy.
Understanding the forces that drive the economy is a major focus of his work. The Gandalf Group conducts the quarterly C Suite Survey featured in the Report on Business and BNN as well as the Bensimon Byrne quarterly Consumerology Report. The Gandalf Group previously conducted research for ASC in 2011 and 2013.
David received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina, and was called to the Bar in Ontario after receiving his LLB from the University of Saskatchewan.
