How should companies do business in a fundamentally changed world? A weakening of the foundations of our planetary infrastructure is costly to business and putting society at risk. The mega-challenges of climate change and resource constraints threaten our ability to run an expanding global economy and are profoundly changing "business as usual." But they also offer unprecedented opportunities.

In his unique and entertaining way, Andrew Winston describes the simple but profound mindset shift – the Big Pivot – that companies must make to go beyond merely coping, and actually contribute to the redesign of our economic system. His talk provides crucial strategies for executives and managers ready to move boldly forward and win in this new reality. With concrete advice and tactics, and stories from companies like Diageo, Dow, Ford, Nike, Unilever, and Walmart, The Big Pivot provides a blueprint for creating more resilient, flexible businesses that profit from building a healthier, more sustainable, more prosperous world.

Andrew’s new book, The Big Pivot, explores how companies can thrive in a hotter, scarcer, more open world, and provides a new roadmap to help executives create a more prosperous business, economy, and world.

He received his BA in Economics from Princeton, an MBA from Columbia, and a Master’s of Environmental Management from Yale.
