ASC Clearance Services Workshop

ASC Clearance Services is bringing back its informative and interactive workshop for prescription drug manufacturers and their agencies. This popular workshop is designed to help participants develop DTCA Rx and DTCI messages that comply with the provisions of the Food and Drugs Act and Regulations, as well as the Health Canada The Distinction Between Advertising and Other Activities policy.

At the request of Health Canada, ASC Clearance Services has been providing advisory opinions for DTCA Rx and DTCI messages for nearly 15 years. Using guides and checklists developed by ASC, participants will evaluate DTCA Rx and DTCI broadcast, print and online materials, including social media.

This 2.5-hour interactive workshop is intended for staff involved in the development of DTCA Rx and DTCI messages. It is essential for new staff, and will serve as a refresher for seasoned professionals.
