Advertising Standards Canada and the Association of Canadian Advertisers are pleased to bring the Bensimon Byrne Consumerology Report - January 2010: Technology and Consumers to Advertising Week 2010.

Join us for a special presentation of the January 2010 Consumerology Report exploring technology trends affecting a wide range of consumer behaviour. This new study, produced for Bensimon Byrne by The Gandalf Group, will offer new insights into how technology is playing a transformative role in the consumer space.

Presentations by Jack Bensimon and David Herle will look at the role online media plays in shaping brand images, informing consumers, the way consumers now research purchases and decide to buy, and the prevalence of social media in the process. All of this will be linked to key demographics (income, gender, age, new or old Canadian, rural or urban resident). The session will also explore two topics – PVRs and online advertising formats – using innovative research techniques that will greatly enhance our understanding of their impact.

This Consumerology Report will bring an understanding of technology and consumers that does not currently exist in the public domain. This hour long session will be of tremendous value to all marketers seeking a better understanding of communications technology and consumer behaviour.
