ASC Clearance Services will present an interactive introductory workshop to help food advertisers and their agencies create advertising that complies with the Food and Drugs Act & Regulations and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s Guide to Food Labelling and Advertising.
Over the course of a two-hour workshop, we will highlight the dos and don’ts of using the following claims in food advertising:
- compositional/quality claims
- common names
- ingredient declaration
- use of such terms as fresh, natural and pure
- nutrient content claims
- energy claims
- comparative claims
- diet-related health claims, e.g. drug-like claims, biological role claims, weight loss/maintenance claims
This workshop will be of particular interest to Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Advertising and Agency professionals.
