Children’s Advertising

Google Play logos now permitted in children’s commercials
In December 2015, Google Play modified its terms of use to permit persons under 13 years of age to use the service with parental consent. As a result, providing the commercial states in audio and video super that children should get parental permission before using Google Play, the Children’s Clearance Committee will now approve children’s broadcast advertisements that mention this service or include its logo.

ASC Clearance Services now offers preclearance of Ontario grocery store beer advertising
With the recent introduction of beer sales in some Ontario grocery stores, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has released Advertising Guidelines: Sale of Beer in Grocery Stores, an addition to its Liquor Advertising Guidelines. ASC Clearance Services now offers preclearance of beer advertising by grocery stores for compliance with these new guidelines, at the current AGCO clearance review prices.
