ASC Requirement for Medical, Regulatory or Compliance Attestation for Direct-to-Consumer Information Messages
ASC has established a new procedure to streamline the submission process for direct-to-consumer information submissions.
ASC now requests that Advertisers provide a signed attestation from a company Medical, Regulatory or Compliance officer
confirming that direct-to-consumer information messages being submitted for ASC review have been evaluated to ensure
that the product claims are consistent with the Health Canada authorized Product Monograph and that the non-product claims
are supported by the reference materials provided.
