Consumer Drug Advertising Clearance
ASC Clearance Services has been reviewing consumer-directed nonprescription drug advertising since 1997. Since that time, our clearance complement has expanded to encompass the review of natural health product advertising and prescription drug direct-to-consumer-advertising (DTCA) and direct-to-consumer-information (DTCI).
ASC Clearance Services also offers consultation services for new product launches, advertising concepts and advisory opinions on advertising copy.
Review services are offered in both English and French and are done by ASC clearance analysts who are experts in their respective disciplines.
ASC Clearance Services works closely with industry and Health Canada and contributes to the development of policies and guidelines to ensure that advertising in this category meets regulatory requirements.
